Beschreibung
The drawings are copies after München, Cod. icon. 209e, fol. 16v + 17r, because:
- the Munich drawings contain very more measurements
- the Stockholm drawing is slightly more systematizes in the ordering of the measurement all over the drawing
- the Stockholm draftsman makes a note that this is the "Cornice de la rotonde / par dedens", while the Munich draftsman does not mention it – presumably because he was sure to remember what was shown here.
Both hands differ from one another, but at least the Stockholm one is obviously french.
While the Munich drawing shows underdrawings with charcoal, the Stockholm drawing does not => suggesting that the Munich drawing is based on a non-proportionate drawing, maybe one made in front of the original: There would have been no need for a preparatory drawing if the original would have been in proportion already. Therefore, preparatory underdrawings are missing in the Stockholm copy.
