Beschreibung
The drawings seems to be a copy after Munich Cod. icon. 209e, 18v + 19r, because:
- it does not contain additional information
- slight differences (nails in the roof construction) are less accurately drawn and would not make sense in the way as they are shown here – so the draftsman of the Munich original seems to have had more informatione (or memories) available
- there are slight preparatory drawings here, but the seem to be based on the Munich drawing, because they are just marking specific points, as if the Stockholm draftsman would have used the Munich drawing as an underlay.
- The letter "A" appears only in the Stockholm drawing to establish a connection to a separate drawing – which the Munich draftsman may not have needed to remember
- Both draftsman are french; they use "en toute" for the width of the door opening that is only shown in half.
- The Stockholm draftsman places the sketched lines for the inscription plate beside the door in the middle field, which seems to be wrong
- The Munich draftsman shows the profile of the uppermost console cornice, while the Stockholm draftsman does not – but maybe for him the profile of that cornice on the far left end would have been enough, so it may not be an error or mistake but a willful decision
