She writes: "Numerosissime sono poi le osservazioni di carattere antiquario disseminate negli studi non specificamente dedicati alle antiquitates". In Aldrovandi's collection, Brizzolara notes plaster casts of statues of ancient gods and wooden models of architectural elements (e.g., the orders) made according to the rules of Vitruvius.
